php form on windows server

Post icon  Posted 19 October 2009 - 08:50 PM

I have recently coded a php script for my webpage and the form worked great now my host has switched to a windows server or IIS Server now my form doesnt send emails to me anymore i contacted him he said that in rder to get it to work i have to you make sure to set the mail server information as this is a windows server. If you don't set the mail server settings it won't know how to send the mail and nothing will happen.

How do i go about doing this? is this in the php script where i send the mail to my email??

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

You can force the mail settings if you use code that directly connects to the smtp server :

Else if nothing on your end changed, he'll need to make sure that everything is correct. I don't know why your settings would need to be corrected if the webserver was changed.
