Question: My external hard drive is connected, but itsn't being viewed in My Computer. How can I view my hard drive, for it shows up in Device Manager.

Answer: Go to disk management right click on the drive and give it a different letter.

Question: What's the best way to backup my hard drive in case it crashes?

Answer: Microsoft has a way to backup your Windows OS, there are also third party software like Norton Ghost that will backup the image of your hard drive for you to backup later if you do indeed mess up your hard drive.

Question: How can I change my product key in Windows 7, for some reason I didn't enter it in and it says I only have 30 days to validate windows, but I have one inside my DVD case.

Answer: Go to Start > Right Click on Computer. At the bottom go to Properties. There you'll have a link to activate and change your product key. Enter in your product key correctly and follow the wizard. The rest Windows 7 will do.

These are a few questions I could think of on the top of my head that I had issues with today that I fix. I actually had to ask in here for one of them.

Hopefully this will help you. Hit me up on AIM @ coden4fun if you'd like to review more questions with me. I'm a software engineer consultant I do this for a living. May not memorize all the answers but I know how to get around most of it.
