Just got told that the other half of my SS gift has arrived at the house. Freakin A man, it now takes me 2 HOURS to get home after work, but now I'm jumping up and down. And the wife is NOT putting it under the tree for me to open in 2 days, mainly cause we didn't put one up this year.

To my secret satan.. you are one tricky dic! There are implications wide and far from what I received.

Story time first:

Above is indeed what I received today on my porch. I heard the bell ring and sprinted to the door in time to watch the UPS guy slide down the drive way and back flip into his truck. After merrily flipping him the bird I scooped up my box and tore into.

The implications..
1. This means the secret santa from work is indeed done giving me gifts. Amazon indicated my list had a few things off it (and no I didn't peek), but these are the only things. Sad.
2. My dad's comment when he saw the Architecture book, after he flipped through it, was "You aren't planning on a career change are you? You know my opinion of being an architect for a career is!". I assuaged his fears and said that I was not planning on pursuing that field.
3. I can finally play a game my mentee has talked about and verify if he was telling me the truth of his slightly disturbing commentary of the game... something about having had nine wives.. widowed nine times ("I killed them don'tcha know!"), having two wives at the SAME time, and having 4 STDS.. all while being the evil character. A-huh.

For those not cool enough to be my Facebook friends... or those who are but blocked my updates due to annoyance factor... my kids decided our annual screeching, squealing festival of flying paper needed to start at 2am. FML.

Regardless, I was finally allowed to open my SS gifts: a Dilbert desk calendar and a 2GB USB MP3 player (w00t! w00t! No more long days of coding in silence... I shall have la musica!!) Thank you ever so much, Secret Satan Canadian!!

I just checked my order. Its saying it was dispatched for delivery on the 20th but probably wont be delivered until around the 29th. Sorry about that.

sorry, i didn't want to out people, i just wanted to make sure people knew about where we were.

i.e. that i have 4 unconfirmed shipping's but that most appear on their way.

Nah, I don't care about the outing, it was kind of unreadable for me, thus not being "helpful".
