Just my opinion, but a college/university should have their own website with a forum. Creating a forum on a free forum hosting service isn't really creating a good image for the university, but this is just my opinion. There are ads, that aren't even closely related to anything college. Also, the navigation isn't really intuitive, but once again, this is just my opinion.

ahh sorry i'm sorry i didn't mention that it was like a contest for the best university community on a free hosting so the winner get his own domain
the university liked my idea. so they gives me money to create the official website on a paid domain name
it means i manage the Entire university online community
the paid domain address in under construction ;)

If you really want to create a forum why don't you try Drupal CMS or Joomla .These are the best and available for free in internet.I have also created a portal using Drupal 6.2 for my college's Linux users group.

Lay-out is not bad but there is to much movement ! It irritates me a little bit.
anish_shukla I like your drupal site a lot ! i started learning this now !
Complicated , dreamweaver seems a lot easier.

The overall site is pretty good. I agree, I dislike the google ads but also the microsofty web 2.0 icons.

Icons need some work for sure, probably smaller.

Your page is out of alignment, line up all the elements as if they were on a grid, not just semi-randomly through the page.

The banner needs more of a creative touch than just some simple effects any developer could do, hunt down an art major and get him/her to help.

To me the site seems to be in more chaos than actual order, language barrier or not the site looks jumbled in chrome and definitely needs work as far as white space, padding, and design elements in general.

While developers can in fact make sites and some graphics you need a competent designer to give you an idea of what to start for and their creative vision can help tremendously.

I do both ends myself but often times I'll get a developer to help if the site involves anything complicated as far as back-end, the same should go for developers with design.

You got paid to launch a free forum? Good for you. The admin of your university must be pretty dumb...

And putting ads for free money on your university site... not very nice.

Lame. Looks like a forum that I could create in a few minutes. Let me guess PHPBB or Bulletin Board.
