Events are not firing on web server

Posted 07 November 2009 - 10:01 PM

I am developing a website using asp.net visual studio.net 2003. I am working with xp professional service pack2 and using vb.net for coding. Everything is working fine on my local server but when I am uploading my website none of the events are firing. Please explain me the reason.

What events? How are you calling them?

Is it setup as an application?

This is not a setup file this is an application. Button click events are not firing on web server but they are working fine on local system. The code is as follows :
Private Sub Button1_Click(ByVal sender As System.Object, ByVal e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click
Response.Redirect("CmMsg.aspx")
End Sub

ASP.NET pages are applications. You must setup folders on a webserver as an application. If you do not, a lot of the application functionality will NOT work.

Such as: events, data binding, etc. If it works on your local server and not a web server, more than 99% of the time this is the problem.
