Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Mainly because of the eating, but also because of the lazyness. And the ability to finish my NaNo. Also, because I get to hang out with family, and see my sister's and all the mushy stuff.
and to the point: What are your Thanksgiving traditions? And most importantly, whats your favorite Thanksgiving food?

When I was a little kid I used to love playing football on Thanksgiving with the other kids in the neighborhood. I haven't done that since elementary school though. These days I channel surf to see if Charlie Brown Thanksgiving is on. I like watching Charlie Brown around the holidays. I don't watch the parade though because it seems boring and stupid.
The only thing I dislike about Thanksgiving is family. I don't particularly like my family. I much rather eat dinner with my closets friends, but that never happens because they are eating dinner with their own families.

What kind of key doesn't open a door? A TURKEY!!!!! gobble gobble gobble >=3
We go to my grandmas for what is basically a giant potluck, they all let their kids loose and screaming, the adults cuss at the kids for running around tripping them, other adults yell at those adults for yelling at their kids, arguing, beer, gambling, then we exchange names for Secret Santa. Though my family's being cheap asses this year, so they're not going to.
Now the only people getting presents on Christmas at grandmas is the kids and gma and gpa.

I like Thanksgiving because you just eat and sleep. Awesome. And it's a little reminder that Christmas is right around the corner.

My main Thanksgiving tradition used to be hunting until they changed the damn season dates (And of course football and eating until I couldn't move)

Boring Holiday. We eat turkey and dressing on that day, and do the same things we do every other day. Is that our tradition?

I love Thanksgiving!
I get to gorge myself on food I didn't have to cook. We use disposable tableware whenever possible, so there is minimal clean-up, then we turn on some football, plop on the couch and nap the afternoon away...
It's the only low-pressure family-oriented holiday. I
it.
And my favorite Turkey Day dish would have to be my momma's homemade stuffing. mMmM.... damn. Now I'm gonna be craving stuffing and I still have to wait 2-1/2 weeks to get it!

My favourite part of Thanks Giving is eating it in October and thinking that Americans have to wait another month until they get to enjoy delicious delicious food
