My interests are computers, college football, college basketball, nascar. I am 37 yrs old with 2 kids.

If you can offer me any help just in the best place to start to even learn how to program please feel free to drop me a line. Thank you for your time.

Hey welcome to DIC.

I just recently joined and so far it has been great!
There are so many knowledgeable people here.

Im 19 and in community college. Classes are a good way to learn, but I take online classes so i pretty much teach my self anyways.

So i would recommend starting with language like c++ or something similar. Get a good text book and download an IDE like visual studio c++

This is the textbook i used for my intro c++ class:
c++ text book

im sure an earlier edition would be good as well.

There are a lot of textbooks out there so just find one and start reading.

good luck
