Hai,
I am having Windows XP Prof 2 CD; I took one copy of CD through 'NeroStartMart' by 'Copy CD' option.
Also made copy to my Hard Disk
Now both the original and backup CD has been damaged and not working properly; only the Hard disk data is available for me to create a new CD.
I copied this data in a new CD, the problem now is it is not booting while restarting to install the XP.
How to make this data compatible to work as bootable CD as the original have.
Please help.

Here are some instructions as to making a bootable CD with Nero Burn.
Sadly, if your disc is damaged, you may have to bite the bullet & buy a new one. It's not possible to make an install disc from within the Operating System. I would suggest instead buying a copy of Norton Ghost, or another cloning program & making an image of your existing system rather than making an install disc.

Did you just write the data to CD like creating a new CD?
Or did you open the temporary file and re-write another CD?
I'm guessing option 1.
Now:
If you've just copied the contents of the CD to a folder on your hard drive you may be able to create a bootable version of the CD.
You just need the boot sector extracted off a bootable CD, and then point that to the makefile / install file.

If you copied the entire cd to your hard drive it is possible to make a new version.
Simply add all files to a data disk and make sure that you make this disc bootable. The boot file is in the I386 folder and is called bootfix.bin. Use this as your boot file and then you can boot from the CD just as usual.
If you don't have everything all you actually need for this to work is the i386 folder and the ID files (WIN51IP, WIN51, WIN51IP, WIN51IP.SP2)
Hope this helps.

If you have a .iso simply download InfraRecorder and it has an option to burn image to disk. Works perfectly for all the linux distro's i burn and backup.

"masipro" I think you should do what "danny_kay1710" said, and making the image will do nothing. From nero you have to select bootable data disk option to write the files,Now when you restart i.e. boot your computer , enter on the BIOS setup and select "First boot device" option as CD/DVD (BIOS setup should have this kind of option) ,normally the first boot option is hard drive in many BIOS settings so you have to change it .
And do the test with rewritable disk.
Good Luck
