MSN Messenger 8

Anyone have MSN Messenger 8 or an info on it? I heard it is good, but i also heard that the full version will not be released until Oct 2006, and will actually cost to get.

And as an fyi, there is an actual virus that has posed as msn messenger 8 beta...not sure if it's still floating around, so be careful.

I do like MSN more then the others however I rarely use it becuase its not as popular as services like AIM...

It's gonna be a bad move to start charging for a IM client with so little market share, I know AOL was talking about charging for AIM a while back and they decided to back off due to the fact it would likely go under if they did so.


Oct. 2006 seems like a LONG way off if theres betas floating around now.

I heard it is based on invites, and your only allowed to have it for a month, or so i have heard
