I see a difference between attacking the fundamentals of an institution, like its beliefs and practices, and attacking its members due to their beliefs (ie., I disagree with Christianity's use of Hell as a scare tactic to impress upon morality vs. All Christians are idiots b/c they believe in Hell). I was agreeing with Raynes on the institution part.

But anyways, this is the Games forum not the Heated Topics forum, so let's return to joking with each other rather than flame wars. I'm not in the mood for a flame war tonight.

Except...Hmm...Christianity isn't an institution, it's a set of beliefs. Fail.

An institution would be 'IRTehova's Church of Christ.'

Lol give him a break. He's like 15. Maybe they haven't gone over the many, many things that "Christianity" (Extremely broad term) has given us. For starters: the renaissance - America - end to slavery. In all seriousness, that was the worst post I've ever seen. Truly.

You could've put God or something more specific. Neo is right; compared to Christianity, wicca fails horribly. I, literally, can think of nothing that wicca has done that benefits humanity as a whole. In fact, all the "witches" I know personally, are 13 - 16 year old girls.

On topic: I say people with obnoxiously large signatures fail.

edit: Many religions have also benefited humanity. You don't have to believe in them to see how they have benefited.

I am being nice cause I don't know you that well around the forums, but there is a reason that the team asks this sort of thing to be confined to the heated topics forum. I get very into it, (notice my sig? ) and others get offended (not that I go out of my way to offend others). Just saying, it tends to cause flaming from one side or another. Which is why we have heated topics. Which is not where this thread is.
