setting up INTEL Compiler

Post icon  Posted 18 February 2006 - 04:45 AM

Hello all.
This is my first official post(except my introduction).
I've got an Intel Compiler 9 for windows CD and tried setting it up on my pC. It needs the VC++ linker for proper config. But i've VC++8.0 (from VS 2005) installed. But the compiler doesn't detect the linker. What can I do to setup the compiler properly?

PS:I already have a few other compilers, but I've heard that Intel Compiler generated good machine code, hence I want to use it. ;)

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0
