I have submitted at least two tutorials I know of that I submit and never hear if they been denied approved or even received. I know you Mods and Admins are busy folks. But if its denied it would be beneficial if maybe we could know they were and why perhaps? Because Im sure Ive searched for the tutorials before I submit them and if I dont find anything Ill submit it.
Im just wondering and kinda asking if it be denied the author be notified of the status and maybe even why? Because I keep thinking maybe the submission didnt go through or it wasnt looked at or something.

Sometimes, snipets and tutorials take a while to approve just due to the sheer volume of submissions (think about the number of semi-active members and estimate 1 submission/member). You'll here back if they get denied. If they're approved, however, you'll see the increase in kudos without any nodification.

The two submitted tutorials were duplicates, so deleted the earliest.
Please be patient as you only submitted on the 27th December, as you can appreciate we do get a lot.
It is also a busy time of the year for non-DIC activities (Christmas New Year)

Seth, if you have a think about it, you have submitted 2, right?. Well, there are 300k + members, and so I would say about 100 people actively submit. So thats 200 per day. I'm sure the team have lives outside of the net, so it would take a while.
