Prepare Yourselves For the Third Coming

Those of you who know of what I speak, rejoice with me for it will be upon us in ten Earth days. For those uninformed, unwashed masses, a brief synopsis of the show:

Quote

The series is about an "average computer-whiz-next-door" who receives an encoded e-mail from an old college friend now working in the CIA; the message embeds the only remaining copy of the world's greatest spy secrets into Chuck's brain.

The above quote doesn't really do it enough justice, however to give you the full scoop would require some spoilers. Currently Hulu has the pilot and the last 5 episodes of season 2 up (why only five at a time, I have no idea, executives are just dumb, especially since the Season 2 DVD doesn't come out until 1/5/10).

You could watch the pilot and then start season three, but you would be depriving yourself of some quality television. For a full scoop (if you just wanted to read to catch up), the wiki page is quite informative. Action, comedy, tech, romance, this show has it all.

*POSSIBLE SPOILER(S) ALERT*

Having that said, what are you looking forward to the most? I didn't expect some of the plot twists in season two and I think they nicely explained/wrapped up everything that led up to what happened in the pilot. I'm eager to see where they'll take the Intersect 2.0 with Chuck's (temporary?) powers since the whole "wait in the car nearly useless person" was getting a bit worn.

Season three starts 1/10/10 [Sunday] with a two hour premiere, followed by a regular episode on 1/11/10 [Monday] at 8/7c.

Why in the world did they put it up against House [timeslot]? I'm in the demographic that watches both, le sigh.

Lest I forget, Adam Baldwin is just win.

Discuss.

@KYA watching the pilot on Hulu, you have opened my eyes to what I will presume to be my future favorite show.

Eidt: Just watched the first pilot. A virus diffusing a bomb attached to a laptop. Now that is hilarious.

Just saw the first 5 episodes of Season 1, and thoroughly enjoyed the show.

I'll be watching 5 episodes a night until I finish Season 1 & 2

Cool beans! It's supposed to be on Hulu the day after it airs, but I'm going to go against my normal routine and actually watch on the tv.

I watched the pilot and found MegaVideo has all three season. So Im going to keep watch it. It looks pretty good. I even paid to watch it because so Megavideo only allows like 75 minutes of video and then you have to wait for 53 minutes or something. Bastards.

@Sethro, Is Season 3 actually leaked through MegaVideo? I thought they recorded these shows once a month and then released them. Hm... if you can provide me with proof of this I shall buy my own megavideo account myself, and then download these files via FF.

Edit: This show is playing the sametime House is, but that is my favorite show of all time. I have to choose? What network does this come on? I rarely ever turn the TV on. Mostly... to play non-PC video games.
