Side Bar Navigation Improvements

Posted 07 January 2010 - 10:53 AM

After the update to the "My Profile" popup and the Week1 challenge, I realized now would be a perfect time to make a suggestion for the side bar.

This is something that I always click on, expecting it to work and doesnt (which i can credit to my years of surfing the net) is the arrows on the side bar. In my mind i feel that orange headers (i.e. Programming Help), when the arrow is clicked on, the arrow will rotate sideways, collapse its sub categories and shift the other categories up. And the subcategories (i.e. C and C++), their arrows when clicked will expand a new set of sub categories which will be any sub forms (so you can click on "C++ Programmers").

I think this would make navigation faster for those who know where things are, and not have to scroll all the way down to "Computers & Games" if I can minimize "Hang Out", "Web Development" and "Freelancing", three groups of boards i rarely use.

Anyway thats my 2 cents

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

Heheh, I thought the same thing. Once we get the forums upgrade, I'll probably do something like that :)
