my firefox recently started to break everytime the download dialog showed up. VERY INCONVIENENT. i had to delete my profile and start over again from scratch. EQUALLY INCONVIENENT. now i can't figure out how to get it to remember my passwords again. UNBELIEVABLY INCONViENENT.

mine only broke once but that was a day before I was reinstalling windows for unrelated problems. (dang windows and its has to brake twice a year and never when its convineint policy).

Hey supersloth, if you haven't completely deleted your old profile folder you could possibly get your bookmarks and passwords back.

bookmarks.html is obviously your bookmarks. cookies.txt is also a given. And I think that your saved username/password combo's are located in the signons.txt file.

yeah i copied all 3 of those, it fills in the usernames on all the sites i go to but none of the passes. hrm.

If their were only one browser, that would be firefox. Firefox will soon dominate the world, so get used to using it early. F IE!!! I'm gonna start a nazi-style movement with firefox.

firefox is just a browser. its good, but thats all it is. one day something else will be better. i don't think any revolutions are needed or warranted, people will use the product that works best.
