the reason i dont have it on my main computer and my notebook is mostly compatability issues , alot of software doesnt work with linux yet , so im kinda ... waiting ... that and linux doesnt recinise my notebooks modem and cdrom ...

well man... since you love lunix so much... why don't ya just write your own drivers... ya know... recompile hte kernel and all that jazz that you linux users do... i mean you have to be like this super programmer d00d or some shit to be really productive with that shit.  
i think the new tag line should be... "Linux: so many distros... sooo little compatability"  the only real reason to like linux is cuz of the price: FREE.  what do you get for free?  well, i tell you what... chris wouldn't get laid for free, so how do you expect to get an OS fully 100% compatable for free?  ummm... lemme let that one soak in... for a bit here while i marinade a little longer... :)

hey .. dont let me make you think the wrong thing , i like linux becuase its differnt , it gives me something to fiddle around with , thats all , and the reason like , 4 of my older computers had it is becuase one night me and keith got drunk and tryed to make a beowulf cluster .... but it didnt work ... windows will always be the OS i do my stuff in , but i might use linux more siriously when more stuff comes out for it , and im not gonna make my own drivers and stuff ... becuase i have no clue how and i really dont care ..
