well we have at least 1 PC (that has turned to several) that was returning a

"Not Enough system resources to display completely"

error message when opening Excel. A google search on the above error message returned several posts on other forums that all pointed to a Landesk Knowledge base article with a patch.

The only problem with this KB article is that it nolonger exists. However it pointed me in the right direction to get this issue resolved. I spoke with our landesk support agent who informed me that the error was patched in the latest version of the landesk desktop component.

So if you get the above error message and you are running landesk for your desktop management

Windows 2000
Windows XP pro

You will need to remove the landesk client on the local machine that is producing the error message and then install the latest version ( landesk client version 8.6 fixes this at the time of this writting )
