My obfuscation technique:
Write a bunch of methods in a huge (10GB) .txt file that do absolutely nothing and hide the real method (which is 12,000 lines of code) in the middle of the file.

If you are unwilling to keep up with modern methods or idealogies, this this field is not right for you. Even if you don't believe in them, nor wish to do this in your personal projects, you still should be learned or somewhat informed on reletively up-to-date concepts. It's a changing field, yo. You don't see doctors these days making herb pastes to try to cure cancer, now do you? Speaking of ancient medicine, how's your "medicine stone" collection going? BWHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

They are at the ready. The Winter Olympics is way short on snow. The stones could fix that problem easier than SSDS does data. I'm surprised they haven't called. They know the power of the stones from Expo 86 in Vancouver and the 88 Olympics in Calgary. Why they aren't calling is beyond me.

Oh the video stuff. I'm an expert on digital video. So much so they banned me for life and got rid of some of my best best arguments. I'm doing screen captures of everything from now on. I don't want to have all that whining and complaining disappear. Too much good shit gone.

Maybe you could make another VB5 program that automatically takes screen shots and stores them into a giant mess of a binary file randomly and then use SSDS2.0 (that will be another awesome Spaghetti Program, of course!) to search through that. Nothing like a Single, 70GB blob file of all your photos! Trust me, the government will never find stuff there!

They had video back in the 70s? I thought all video back then was on tape. Now I know they used audio cassettes for storage back then, but VCRs I've never heard of being used. BTW I've wrote spaghetti code, back when I was first introduced to BASIC and didn't know any better. That was how you did back then, 30 years ago. The only reason you can even like it is because it let's you and you only really understand your program. A thousand GOTOs in the place of 1 switch statement and nobody will even want to understand your code.

The code is right out of the 70's with a couple calls to mcisendstring to play my video.

Only me understand my code. Phooie. You do something similar and show that code around. Nobody will be able to find all the pieces first off. With Spaghetti code it is all right there in 1 huge program. Your method of computing is "solutions by a 1000 programs" Mine is "1 program for a 1000 solutions" Much much simpler to get up to speed my way.
Come on replace this code with something more understandable. Bet none of you can do it!
