Our Client, a government organization, is looking for a Web Applications Programmer.

Start Date: ASAP
Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

• Provide with Web content management;
• Develop Web applications;
• Program and document all components of Web applications;
• Research, evaluate and recommend new Internet tools and applications
• Perform requirements gathering, system design and modeling, relational database creation and management, code development, etc.

Requirements:

• Experience developing Web and Object-Oriented applications using Ruby/Rails, Java/JSP, or ASP/.Net – 2+ years;
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL relational databases;
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA);
• Web interface and graphic design experience – preferred;
• Experience with CSS, HTML – XHTML, XML, Javascript, Object, Database, and Process Modeling, Model/View/Controller design – preferred;
• Experience working with government organizations – Highly preferred

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related
