I can't make new log entries. I hit post and it takes me to my log page and nothing happens, no new post.

I just got off the phone with teampoop. He's going to try a few more things. We think the issue may be due to the fact that the old forums were using prettify, and now the new forums are using prettify and at some point they are being called twice.

If anyone wants to FireBug it and try to identify the bottle neck and help us out feel free We're limited on resources and time.

Kya turn scripting on in firebug and try again.
Since I uograde to 3.6 I can not replicate the problem. (The site is blisteringly fast in it)
I experienced it in the previous version of Firefox
It freeze on line47 (or line:49) of prettify. Could someone double check.

Thought: Have they improve Javascript Engine?

in the vb6 forum i am using this in 800*600 resolution clicking on my profile menu is almost impossible

I think it is just a site design flaw and not a bug as it simply was not designed with us smaller screen users in mind, this website is far from being Netbook friendly (even on my 1024-wide system the screen is horrible). This text box takes up my entire screen!

Full disclosure: I only skipped through after the first five pages of this thread, so may be repeating stuff, but...

1) Styles on a:hover are #cccccc on #ffffff? Seriously? Attached image ("anchor") in case for some reason it's only serving this to me. I hope this is a bug and not a design choice!

2) When editing your profile, there is a field - programming languages - which claims to be free text, but is actually an empty select box (see attached "language" pic)

3) The annoying bug where it sends you an email for every single reply to a thread (which since I've been away for a week is a lot) instead of just emailing you once like it says it should do is still there. I thought nobody was addressing that one because the site was basically never going to get updated, but now I feel it's such a big, glaring fault that it deserves crowbarring into the conversation again.

Did a bunch of changes to the [ code ] syntax highlighting and CSS so it should perform like it used to.

We'll be working more with the [ code ] tags to try to make them work better in IE and FireFox (i.e. using the entire width, etc.)
