Final Year Project ideas

Currently im in my second year of a Computer Science degree. I therefor need to think of a final year project idea.

I was just wondering if there was any ideas of projects to tackle or any useful links.

It will be a programming project using Java.

I have one idea

Simulating the behaviour of ants using Java

http://en.wikipedia....ny_optimization

and another project idea which is checking for cheating in coursework.

Thanks macosxnerd101 for the link, :) but i already checked that post out a few times and tried to think of a way of turning them simple ideas and make some more advanced. The lecturers at university would literally say that the projects on the list wouldnt be as challenging for a project lasting a year.

I like the ant idea too. Maybe you can add an option in there for the user to select the species of ants they want to see so they can compare them to other species, and how they compare to one another.
