You can start saying what is your project and showing what you already have.

my project is sensors located in door sides and when some one intrrude this place the sensor activate the a hidden camera that take three pictures for the intrruders then it send these picture to the owner mobile phone with entrence time >>> my project include a light sensor which it change camera mode if it in dark mode or if it lighted >>>

so it a huge problem that i stuck in my software >>> i finish testing my photoelectrical beam sensor and i start to connect my sensor to a parallel port for testing >>

i don't know how to start because in C++ course they teach us how to make a calculator only

so i don't know how to describe my sensor is it a float or integer or what ??

tthat is my question

plzz help

ok, this seems to be a very complex project for somebody who has just used C++ to program a calculator. I would image quite a few of the people here would not know where to start on that! Hmmm, if I tell you that accessing the parallel port requires you to open "LPT1" will that help you on your quest?

LPT1 is the name of the parallel port you would use to communicate with your external device. Your would open it in read/write mode, read from it, and write to it. So I would suggest that you need to do some research into "Parallel port processing". That will be a start.

I would then suggest you look at how to open, read and close files. That is what you will be doing to read and write data to your external device.

If you don't have access to the internet, then you can't send e-mail!

I am not prepared to give you my e-mail, sorry. I will be here on Monday though.
