Accessing Secure Sites

i cant open any secure site . hence i cant read my mail. yes i have a 128 bit secure connection. and all ssl,tsl etc are enabled. also no other browser is working . i tried to switch to opera and mozzila but they are not working .help me

It would appear that your Firewall is blocking port 443 that handles SSL

Disable your firewall then try if it works then you know what to open up.

if it dosent work then we can try other options.



But for that I need to know the following

OS version
Motherboard manufacturer model number and chipset
Router model #
switch model #
network card model #
cable modem model and provider
DSL modem model and provider
dial up provider

thanx that went ok ,i thought that i disabled the firewall before posting but norton kept on working in the background. well any ways thanx
