Linking PHP Files to HTML?

Posted 25 February 2010 - 07:54 PM

So, I am a noob at coding, but I have installed HESK (help desk) to my website. I need to know how to bring the HESK php file onto my Index.html.

So trying to explain it more here: I want to make my php file (hesk), show on my html file. Do i need to know the whole code, and then copy/paste it, or do a link url?

This kind of thing is dependent on how you want the help desk to appear on index.html.

EX: If you plan on having HTML 5 features, you could you and iFrame (I'm not positive on this, but it could work) or you can link it.

So, the question is, how do you want to implement it?

I want it to look like it normally would just put onto my index.html file. You can see a demo here: http://www.hesk.com/demo.php

I'm sure i could easily change the color. I tried copy/pasting but it doesnt work, much of the code shows up.

so you want the full help desk to be on the index.html page? than you need to rename index.html to index.php

Yeah i would imagine you need to change the demo.php to index.php, then remove your index.html.

Another alternative is to use a frame set to show the help desk from index.html.
