Hello to all

Hi all. I am a student and learning all this cool programming stuff. I am also, however, a dunce when it comes to it, so if I show ignorance, please forgive me. I hope one day to become a software engineer and marry that experience with my strong medical background and create some really beneficial stuff for medical people everywhere that should make their lives easier and thereby hopefully making healthcare better for all of us. Pretty brave endeavor to be sure, but I'd like to try. I am almost 50 years old, so I had better get this down in a hurry if I hope to do anything before I turn 70!
