Dad went to the ER with chest pains yesterday. Between mom and my siblings, my phone has been ringing off the hook ever since. THIS is the reason I own a cell phone in the first place.
For those concerned: Dad is doing okay. I talked to mom about ten minutes ago, they are most likely sending him home today, but they are waiting on the cardiologist for the final determination.

I remember someone who was twittering their own operation for the parts they were awake for.

I'm a very mobile person, so I tend to put my iphone to good use. Plus, I text/email quite a bit, so I'm glad I have something that makes that easier.

one day 'smart phones' will just be 'phones', and then you guys won't be so smug anymore.
YOU WILL RUE THE DAY YOU WERE SO SMUG. (as you tweet)

But we can still complain about just "phones" then.

no, you'll complain about whatever device or upgrade everyone else is using that you don't have.

Actually, I do have a legitimate problem with my current phone.
Something in the iphones programming prevents it from displaying pictures higher than 10,000. That seems like a lot of pictures, but I've had my phone for a couple of years so it adds up.
It's important to note that it's not even only if you have 10,000 pictures on your phone. Everytime a picture gets saved, it's assigned a number. I have +-200 pictures currently saved, but due to the fact that over the course of 2 years I've had a higher total than 10,000, I can no longer see any new pictures.
There are solutions to it, I'm not arguing with that, but it's a pretty annoying flaw.

Hello Troll, nice to meet you. I was wondering when you were going to come out from under the bridge and snack on the fresh meat!
Well, commence internet blog battle.
Have you ever dialed a United States number without a country code (1)? Did it get you to the same place as it would have if you had included The 1 (Assuming you are in the United States)? Yes, it should have.
15764398721 != 5764398721
But
new PhoneNumber(0, 1, 576, 4398721).equals(new PhoneNumber(null, null, 576, 4398721)) == true
VOX = Voice Operated Switch

Enough said.
They did. iPhone 3Gs includes a setting for battery level percentage. iPhone 3G does not. Check your operating system next time.
I really can't tell you why not. I know if you're really that distraught about it there is an app you can get for $0.99 that allows you to shoot video. It even does it better than the other software does.
Side note: 1998 is a bit early to have any kind of camera on any phone, let alone a video camera. Try again.
Doesn't change the fact that it is pathetic.
Doesn't change the fact that at one point in time the code was lame enough not to. ie: Samsung SGH-a737.
Huh? You have a strange phone then. Get a qwerty phone, they're hip with all the youngsters these days.
At the time of this post I did, and still do, have a full QWERTY phone.

The ability to archive my sexting is extremely importing when choosing a cell phone.

This one is a direct attack on the iPhone 3G. No videos??? Really? I can't record video!?!?!? My phone from 1998 can do that!

Also Mr. T9. Why can't you have a back button? I hate scrolling through your list of words a million times until I finally foot pass the one I want. God Dammit! *backspace backspace backspace* until I finally *don't pass the one I want.

Who is the troll, the "troll under the bridge" or the one that calls it a troll?

Touché. Neither actually. I kinda like what I've seen from TriggaMike and I look forward to seeing his response. If I could I would undo the negative reputation I clicked initially when I read the response.
