DLL error

Posted 17 March 2010 - 07:00 AM

I am building a back up PC for a specified department and the installation part I am at now is throwing a "vbai60.dll cannot be opened" error. I checked and the dll is within the installation folder and I also tried registering the dll and it wouldn't register... any ideas?

Does another process have the DLL open & therefor locked?

Checked the entire directory and the only instance of that dll is in the load file. I tried placing it within system32 with no different outcome. I am getting RegSvr32 error when trying to manually register it. The prompt reads " C:\filelocation\vbai60.dll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found. This File can not be registered" Maybe a .Net dll?
