Slightly annoyed right now. I have 30 minutes till I leave work for the weekend, and I've been trying to design a banner for Minicoders first birthday with pictures and all. I used to do graphic designing, but since I've been out of the loop for so long, and don't have MY computer with all my designing software on it, I can't seem to get something done correctly in MS Office Publisher. Yeah, go ahead and flame me for using that, but it's all I have.

Not even lunch time yet and I'm running out of steam. I have to have this site done by Monday and the more I can finish today, the more pleasant my weekend will be.... maybe I'll pop down to the convenience store and pick up some of that 5 Hour Energy junk on my lunch hour.... I just worry it'll make me too hyper and I won't be able to focus on the task at hand... :/

It's posts like this as one of the main reasons I normally try to avoid the Lounge like the plague because there's really nothing even remotely intelligent being talked about in here, and I prefer to not lower myself to the normal levels of those hanging out in the Lounge.

apparently the plague is unavoidable. how i wish that wasn't the case.

but please, go feel high and mighty in the other forums. whatever gets you thru the day.

b9...you should be fine. I used to drink those things a couple times a week for soccer/staying awake, it never made me too hyper but gave me the energy needed to accomplish my task.

Well my mood today, well right now it's anxious and worried. I think I may have messed up my surgically reconstructed shoulder. It's been sore as hell the past few days and when I woke up this morning it's all swollen & bruised, even hurts to list a coffee cup with my arm

kowwok unfortunately there's not a lot more than can be done with it unless they do a complete shoulder replacement. About 6 years ago they did 2 surgeries within a 5 week span to put it back together again (A lot like Humpty Dumpty lol) and let me know that the only options I now have left are to fuse it (unacceptable to me, I want to be able to actually move my arm) or a shoulder replacement.

The following year they attempted to get Harbor View in Seattle to do a joint replacement but were told that because of my age they aren't willing to do that procedure yet. Joint replacements dont last forever and if they do it before I'm, say 50, then they'll have to do it again in about 15 years, so I'm now in the waiting game.

I've been relatively pain free in my shoulder for the past few years, but that now seems to be changing on me. Hopefully it's just irritated or pissed and will get better *crosses fingers*

In that case, you need to find yourself a butler to bring you food. That's rough though...hope it gets worked out soon.

Now that I think about it I think I know what's caused this. My father-in-law and I went out shooting the other day (My .270 seemed way off when shooting at a coyote), and on the first shot I didn't have the butt snugged tightly against my shoulder and when I pulled the trigger it kicked hard back into my shoulder.

Given that I'm pretty sure I'm not going to have to see my doctor about this, especially considering that the top 1/2 inch of my collarbone was removed during surgery and it hit between the collarbone and my shoulder when it kicked back.
