Dear All

I want code for SQL Server 2008 using vb.net 2008 (not use in DMO or SMO Concept).Please i want new concept to take backup SQL Sever 2008 database

Please any one help me

In order to do tasks such as backup and restore you're going to have no choice but to use SQL-DMO really. I mean there are probably other ways, but why reinvent the wheel, especially when you're just learning how to program. One of the signs of a competent programmer is one who knows what tools are available to them and the willingness to use them.

While it's nice to be able to create something from scratch, like a new way to do SQL backups, it really makes no sense to spend so much time creating something that already exists and is available to you
