Besides, I am almost certain that HTML and CSS would be extremely difficult to code any kind of database in... look into another language. Something like SQL and PHP (then use HTML and CSS to format the data).

Like MrWobbles said. You cannot code a database with html and css. You can only display the information with html and css.

I'm assuming this is probably an assignment of some sort for class. I don't know what has changed since I went to school but when I took a programming class, I took it to learn the language. Am I right?

We have no problem helping people 'fix' or 'debug' their code, but we will not do it for you.
