Asp.net, how do i return the page to its orginal state?

Posted 31 March 2010 - 06:31 AM

Hi there,

I've just begun learning ASP.net and i've created a small webform application that ask you do enter a text string.
The server will then analyze it and tell how many Capital letters where used in the entered string.

I am just wondering how can i return the page to it's default/original state, i've got the application working as i want
but after you've entered a text string and it's been analyzed you should click a button and it should give you the default/original
state of the page so that you can do it all over again.

Here is my code behind file, currently running on localhost so i can't demonstrate.
Like i said what the code does is just analyze the text and then disable the form, change the text of the button.
Then when the user clicks the button i want it to return to the default/original state, how can i do that?

// Problem solved, thanks

Most people would do a simple Response.Redirect(pageURL); to simply load the page again.
