Audio Driver for Windows Vista

I have Linux and having been a long time Windows still needed some of the applications. I downloaded Virtual Box and loaded my retail Windows Vista in it and installed. It already had my wi-fi working but my audio wasn't. I went to the Dell drivers web site and downloaded the driver but I get the following warning:

Restart the system and run setup again.

Self-explanatory error message, recheck your version numbers and retry running setup.
