Hi Everyone,
I've just started a project that will have a datatable.
I seem to remember being able to add a datatable from the toolbox but my current toolbox doesn't give me the option of adding from it. In "choose toolbox items", I have one option for a datatable - the Microsoft.VSDesigner.Datasource - and I have checked it so it should be added to the toolbox, but it isn't.
Any ideas on how I can add a datatable to the toolbox - or is my memory wrong and it can't be done??
Regards,
Steve

Since this isn't really a programming help question, more of looking for help with software (Visual Studio) I'm moving this to the Computer Support & Operating Systems forum

Hi,
@Blues End and PsychoCoder, Just remember when adding a dataset in Visual Studio, you get to the dataset designer, there you can add datatables and tableadapters. Then when happy with the design, you can access the Datasources toolbox and then drag the Table either as a grid or what ever control you choose to be databound to your Form...True not a lot of coding, but maybe not quite Computer Support & Operating Systems... (unless VS is buggered..) Just a hint...
