But supersloth is Mexican. That makes it perfectly acceptable for his entire family to live in the same one-bedroom house indefinitely.

.... I'd much rather have no tv & a running car, than have to tell my girl to be quiet because mom has to get up early in the morning for work.
Is that why you prefer them cold?

3. If a man has passed the 30-year mark without ever being married, there is a reason for it.

This does not render him un-datable, it merely means you have to figure out WHY he's still single and determine if the reason is something you are willing to live with.
I think Gloin is still single because he's trying to pick up mrcn, college girls over the internet.

Gloin has got it made. No wife, no kids, he makes lasagna in bulk. Hell if I were woman, I'd totally fall for him.

Sweet of you to say, but in all honestly, I'm just a commitmentphobe.
I've actually been proposed to five times. Five different men. Five different diamonds. I told every one of them 'no', freaked out and ran away.

She's been waiting for the right man, and now I'm here.
Marry me, beeneen.

Yeah. Not interested. There's only one reason to go to Ecuador. And seeing a clothed Ecuadorian will not help in confirming or denying the rumor.

I have one thing to add that I (in my cursory glance) couldn't find.
Call mom and dad every weekend.
You've moved out. You're out of the nest. You probably can't see them often any longer. Even if you might have a shaky relationship with them, try to call them every weekend.
PS: Advice given in non-biased sense of existence / whereabouts of both parents - tailor advice to suit your situation. Call your aunt or something if you have to. Family is important and it's easy to lose sight of that after moving out.
