Does Dream.In.Code help with hardware questions? I searched all over and all I keep finding is "No hardware questions can be posted in this forum." I have an assignment and need some help but don't know where to post. Sorry, I know this is probably not the spot to post this.

We have just started this stuff in class and I am really lost so I am not sure the official term or name for it.

I know it's not FOR hardware questions, but your assignment is probably best suited in the Computer Support and Operating Systems forum...

Now that we are in the right spot in the forum, I got a question about this.
I am pretty much lost about this stuff and don't even know what each thing does in the MIPS datapath. Could someone explain to me what each part does because my book doesn't have a glossary and these things aren't clearly laid out online when I search for it. Some definitions are:
-PC (program counter)
-Mux
-ALU
-Instruction memory
-Control
-Data memory
-Registers
I got like 30 questions to answer and I think this would help me get started on them because I have to interpret all kinds of diagrams with the stuff listed above. Help please! Thanks in advance
