skyhawk133 probably thought at the time that putting "Your Car" as an option would be a friendly addition to the site that others would appreciate. Programmers do this all the time. Add functionality that's not strictly necessary but that they feel will improve the user's experience.

But users are whiny little prima donnas. They'll rarely thank you for your thoughtful additions, but they're sure to find something wrong with them. Think twice before you add functionality. It's something you'll have to maintain forever.

To the OP. An Audi is a Volkswagen. There's no option for pretentiously over priced VW, so you're stuck with that.

far out i wouldn't have thought that a thread about this in the right forum for it would be that big a deal if any 'deal' at all. Just delete it baavgai if you like, forget i ever made a suggestion or request, whatever you want to call it.

As you said in your post, skyhawk adding the car profile feature was a light hearted friendly addition to the forums, certainly in this case it has turned into flame on my preference of car, sad really, considering most people would go to the point of letter boxing someone based upon it.

I'm not really a car person. I've owned several, never new. Some high end, some rattle traps. I miss my day glow Orange Horizon. Would shake your kidneys loose and caught on fire a few times, but fun to drive. We dressed up as a pumpkin for Halloween. It's in a couple episodes of the Sopranos.

Sorry, I tend to abuse "luxury" car buyers by force of habit; sometimes you're really only paying for new car smell in a can.

lol, well yea i have always had classic cars - older ones and finally got over not having air-con in the hot aussie climate so i got climate control XD, i am not worried if its not there at all, was always just a suggestion, don't worry i have built my bridge and got over it
