you may want to look at this:

and see why 9800GT is my favorite and it is a little slower then 250. 240 have ddr5 on 3.4GHz and your GPU is 1.3GHz i dont think there is any point in that because the GPU is slower then the memory clock and cant handle the information send from it any way. but that is my opinion

I'm pretty sure that's not how it works with GPU/Memory interface...

assuming we talk about WoW there the latency have no effect that is why you see ppl running in circle when you lag because the GPU is getting the last position of that textures of that model. generally it dose have effect it is all about how you write your program. it is my opinion any way and how i understand it.

Latency has everything to do with why you see people running in circles. WoW uses a lag compensation algorithm that tries to "guess" where the person will be going since the last update it gets. When you get disconnected generally people are running in place. With a lot of lag, you see characters running into walls and what not.

The GPU simply draws things at the coordinates that are stored in memory. The machine gets the updates from the network and computes all the information used by the GPU to draw.

I also plan on using this computer as a web server. I found this video card a few weeks ago but I'm not sure it's compatible with all of the other hardware. Here is a link to the video card:

How intensive of a web server?

Either way, that card wouldn't have any problems. But it's pretty overpriced IMO.
If you are curious about the differences, I think HardOCP did some benchs of the 240 - should give you an idea of it's overall performance (or lack there of...).

To run a small social network that I'm making. This would be temporary though. I plan to purchase a web server next year.

For these types of questions, I like to Google up a few reviews, and see what the reviews on Newegg say.

Techspot's review = http://www.techspot....radeon-hd-5670/
Tom's Hardware review = http://www.tomshardw...-5670,2533.html

I like both of these sites for computer hardware info (no, if you're asking, I'm not affiliated with either :P). These reviews seem to find the 5670 a bit lacking in "bang for the buck" as it seems overpriced for its performance. Cards such as the 4850 cost only a little bit more and perform noticeably better (but the 5670 has Eyefinity and DirectX 11 and whatnot). Nevertheless, it seems Techspot ends up recommending the 5670 as their preferred budget card in their article top budget to midrange graphics cards.
