Also tried pulling the network card out, and placing it back in. No success yet.

Anyone at all have anymore input?
Also, do you think buying a new network card would do the trick?
I would most likely go wireless, since my router is also wireless.
EDIT: i see alot of guests are watching, guests, if you know what the problem could be, or have any suggestions, feel free to email me at [email protected] or register and post Please. thanks

Can you borrow a network card from another computer?
IF you do, be sure you also have the drivers for the card.
If it works then you need to replace the network card, if not then you have an OS configuration problem.

Well you can still plug another network card in to see if it works.
In fact, the onboard network interface on my computer pooped out sometime ago. I am using a PCI network card.

I didnt reply yet as the ipconfig / ping is what I would do especally since you have checked the cables and tried a known good one. You dropped a screwdriver into the case? did it hit the motherboard? If so it could have broken a solder trace.
