Have you run the Defragmenter and Disk Cleanup utilities on your computer recently? How about an up to date Virus scan? If you are using an internet card from a wireless provider, I doubt you'll get an exceptionally fast internet connection.

You are probably using Windows. Windows does this frequently:)I think you should use register cleaner. And you should take a online virus scanning.

A computer runs slow as the system resources start to get used up. Please follow items detailed in this tutorial, which is pinned under the Computer Support & Operating Systems btw
After that, if you are still having issues, you will need to provide more detail.
For example, my car makes a clank noise, what should I do 1st? The fact that your computer is manufactured by HP does not provide any one with any details or foresight as to why it would be running slow.
