Tables, Tables, Tables, use just tables with headers and such... nice 1 pixel lines as seperators... keep it clean, spaced, organised, fast...
Don't clutter the site with un-needed images.

HAH! Are you kidding! I don't touch the stuff (code that is) I use Dreamweaver (Macromedia) for all my sites. Only coding I do is to fix any little mistakes Dreamweaver makes.

I'm sure you can find someone that will burn you a copy of dreamweaver to "evaluate"

Every serious webdesigner will tell you to learn HTML... It realy doesn't hurt and is easy to learn...

Yes, I did forget to mention that... I've taken 2 years of HTML and DHTML as well as general coding logic classes so I can figure out most scripts and code.

My Dad is learning HTML right now, it's worth it! But in the long run it's cost/time effective to use editors like Dreamweaver. But you still need to know how to fix those mistakes and code stuff in emergency situations where you don't have an editor

Learn HTML first and then use Dreamweaver, as skyhawk, but leave both FrontPage and Netscape to their destiny, they suck...
BTW, while we´re at it, skyhawk or oracle89: you don´t know a good place to learn ASP, beginners place..?? :)

Good luck to ya LeprechauN!

They have some of the best ASP resources on the net, plus many pre-done scripts :)

Yup, Everyones right. First learn the basics/intermediate level of HTML after completed that use a program such as DreamWeaver. DOnt use UltraDev just plain Weaver 4. After knowing the general concept you will be able to understand your script and know how it works. This is neccesary because making minor changes or adding somthing Weaver cant you can do now. TO sum it up use dreamweaver for the general layout.
