I have an old Fujitsu laptop with a 20 gig winXP partition, and 20 additional gigs of free space. I have tried to install both linux slackware, AND linux mint on it, and they have both worked fine... until i tried to turn it back on. on the slackware one, i had to use the startx command, and when i did that, it said "no screens found". when i tried to boot mint, all that happenned was a picture of a leaf came up, and faded until it was completely white. i am kinda mad because i was really looking foreward to having two OS's on my laptop. anybody with info, please help.

Hey, thanks for the bad rep. If you don't want to fix Slackware, then don't list it tard.
& no, I'm not going to help. I'm obviously not helpful to you.
