-And, I openly admit that I started playing silkroad online just yesterday.

I play EVE-Online ... this game is almost best thing I've played ever :D
Better is only Fallout 1 & 2 ;]

i KNOW that it's a freaking war game, there are tons of war games, the only one i like is CSS and the physics of gunz online no way compares to that of half-life.

I've heard that runescape is kinda like this (don't mention runescape to the players though, I've seen players killed for it...). Its an MMO done in java with no quests or anything like that. Its still fairly new and the graphics leave a lot to be desired but its a great game. Basically you just get plopped down in this world and you can do whatever you want to. Go cut down a tree, carve it into a bow, carve a few arrows, weave the string and you've got yourself a weapon. One of the really cool things though is you can terraform the world. The landscape is all streamed from the server and you can actually change it.

If nothing else just go and sign in with a guest account and check it out.
