5 - Doing It Right
10 - Pretty Good
25 - Quite Good
50 - Good
75 - Very Good
100 - Fantastic
250 - Supreme Being
400 - Apprentice God
500 - God
600 - Superior God
700 - *Customize your own name?*
Well... The above may be a little child-like, but I like them

Personally I dislike the "rep" system all together and think the old "someone thanked you" was much better. And being able to vote "down" should be disabled IMO.

-100: Terrible
-10: Poor
0- Neutral
10- Pretty Good
50- Good
100- Very Good
500- Excellent
750- Add the bronze medal under the title
1000- pbl (in honor of the first DIC to get 1000 rep points)
@matthew180: I liked the old thanks system as well, but the new rep system makes it a lot more transparent as members cannot hide behind anonymously downvoting out of spite, and as Jack Eagles1 says, it serves as a deterrent for rude and trolling posts. This has been thoroughly discussed, but in my experiences, if you aren't deserving of a down-vote, others will negate it, and it all evens out.
I do disagree with you though about the posts:rep ratio for rank, as it belittles the contributions of some of our more active members like pbl, who has more posts, so maybe a lower ratio, but is overall way more helpful than a first or second time poster with a helpful response.

Matthew
And if somebody posts 1 post and gets 4 "reps" for it, then that user will probably be at the top for the entire month. Does that mean that member is equal or better than somebody like KYA who received 88 up votes in June?
The Top DIC Heads should show the most helpful members, and somebody with 1 post for the entire month is not more helpful than somebody that posts 200 times a month and gets 90 up votes.

Prediction: No one will ever get to -100 rep. If you've gotten to -10, your presence here is most likely under serious review by the staff.

Martial arts have a similar number of ranks.
How about an A-Z? 26 levels.
Starting at 10, each successive level is *1.5.
Even the most popular would be a while getting to the end of the list
10 Apprentice
15 Beginner
23 Champ
34 Dreamer
51 Excellent / Elite
76 Fabulous
114 Genius / Geek
171 Honourable
256 Inimitable / Illustrious
384 Jock (seriously?)
577 K
865 L
1,297 Magician
1,946 N
2,919 Outstanding
4,379 Paragon
6,568 Q
9,853 R
14,779 Superlative
22,168 Terrific
33,253 Ultimate
49,879 Virtuoso
74,818 Wizard
112,227 X
168,341 Y
252,512 Z
Visit http://thesaurus.com/browse to see if you can find better (or indeed missing) words in the sequence.

On a serious note, I was also thinking of something akin to martial art ranks, albeit something a little more interesting then a color name.

Actually, I think Theaegd has a -107 rank.
