Posted 21 June 2010 - 11:05 AM

I'm trying to make "checkBox1" make the image in "pictureBox1" how ever transformed made into the background of the the app. I also am having trouble getting a code that zooms in the pic.

Here are some other pics the might help you understand:

You can use this line to stretch the image over the whole form (If this is what you want):

BackgroundImage = new Bitmap(pictureBox1.Image, this.Size);

What's the code for zooming in on a picture box? and how to make the image the way it is (zoomed in and stretched)in the picture box as the background.

sorry, I should have made the questions clearer.

the closest thing that I could find was

Code:
pictureBox1.Size = pictureBox1.Image.Size;

what I am trying to make is a code that on left click you zoom in on only the image not the size of the picture box and zoom out the same way with right click.

We're not just going to write this code for you, it's not how we work here

I know. I just want suggestions on how I might go about doing this and... well I don't know the code and would be nice to have it but I was planning on getting it myself.

I'm new to C# I would just like to know whether this is the way to go to do what I'm trying and if I'm doing it right then could you write the code. I've been trying to find something that works the way I'm trying to do it.

You help people here right? I thought it was obvious that if you couldn't help someone (because of a noob question in this case) you tell them "You find on google, dur"(you did but it didn't work that's why I'm on the forum).

I will google some more if you really don't want to help me.

Thanks, which tutorial?

I hope you do know I wasn't trying to be rude in any way shape or form, it's just we have a policy here that we don't just write code for people. We have problems helping people with their existing code, in fact that's what we're here for, but we just don't write code for people. Writing the code for people doesn't help them learn anything, and at some point in the real world there aren't going to be people there to write it for you, so I hope you didn't take offense to what I said
