Pack a bag and walk out the door. You're not a missing person until someone misses you.

Bad ass line. I'm stealing it. Is there any other source to quote it from besides you?

Moved out at 15. Probably doesn't sound half as exciting as the rest of the stories on here but I'll tell you, lots of shit you learn first hand.

Roach?

Thank you. And no, no other source. That's a B9 original right there.

LOL I moved out before doing anything online. As others have said, just pretty much decided to move out. More out of ignorance than because of a smart choice. I mentioned this before but basically both my parents are the labor type having never graduated high school for both of them. In the 90s, the job market didn't work out for them. They wanted to move out to state and I argued to stay because that was where all my friends and everything else I knew was. Tired of the constant bickering, my parents finally allowed me to move out on the understanding that they wouldn't be able to support me moving forward. I didn't think twice about it (probably didn't really think much really), and packed up and moved out. Got my first job through a family friend at a gas station and that was the start of my adult life.

If you'd asked me this two months ago I might have said "joining the military", "getting married", or something like that. Today my answer is: the day I found out my dad has stage 4 pancreatic cancer. I wish I had a more pleasant "my most life changing moment", but unfortunately there's no one positive moment in my life can compare to this.

Sure there is. It's the moment that has yet to happen. When you either find the cure or make enough to put him in front of the line for a cure.

It was a cool fall evening. I was 5 years old. My grandfather had recently purchased a hand-held back massager and used it for about 5 minutes before setting it down beside his chair. I just happened to be sitting beside his chair. I grabbed the massager and turned it on high. I rubbed it around my back and played with it for a while. When I was bored and about to get up, I accidentally dropped the massager in my lap.

Nevar forget.

Wow.

Flame on.

I wasn't trying to get into anything, however since I was called a liar in no uncertain terms....

The lady was knocked down, that makes the purse snatching strong arm robbery. There was over $400 in cash, that's grand theft, there was a fire arm stolen. That led to a slew of charges. Yes. There was a jury trial. Just because someone makes a statement, doesn't mean that they give you all the extra details. I wasn't trying to give you every detail, just start a simple conversation. Well now you know, and every one of you bastards that called me a liar, can kiss my mother fuckin ass!
