Cross browser failing

Hello everyone i was wondering if anyone would be awsm enough to check me website: www.nuclearnation.net

my problem is that it works on firefox but on internet explorer it goes feral can anyone shed some light

I would start by running your site through the W3C Validator Service which will show you a ton of problems. Many of them will effect the display and could solve your problems with IE. Once you do that and fix the problems, if the problem persists, then come back and describe how things are not working for you on IE.

i found the source of half the problem can anyone tell me why this code

<td style='background: url(images/images/topbar.png) repeat-x;width:1050px;height:103px;background-position: center;'>

would work properly in firefox but not ie

btw the error im having is the image above goes all retarded in where its meant to be but its fine in firefox if u wanna look its at www.nuclearnation.net
