Hi DIC Heads,

I am thinking about purchasing the Windows 7 Pro Upgrade as I am entitled to a discounted price as I am a student.

I have a valid Windows XP license key that I am going to use for the upgrade.

I like to do clean installs of my OS regularly and my main concern is whether my upgrade license can be activated more than once. And also, will I be able to use the upgrade media to do a clean install?

I've reinstalled windows 7 about 5 times now. Eventually, you will need to call this activation call in line, but it's computer activated. As long as you tell them this is the first time you've installed the OS (a blatant lie, but hey, it works), they'll get you all set up.
