the stock fan on my pentium keeps it a little zesty (when I run PCprobe it's flashing me warnings). So I was looking into getting a new heatsink and fan. My case has a side airduct so I was looking at a fan that could utilize that, and this is what I cam up with off of newegg:
Cooler Master
Thermaltake
Roswill
another Cooler Master
Any suggestions?
PS-LGA775 and the mother board uses a 4 pin fan connector.
CPU Fanmy stock fan just doesn't cut it

One word; Zalman.
They make the best air coolers. The CNPS-7700cu i've been using has given me no problems and compared the other coolers i've trieds its by far the best.

Yeah, if your going to get a aftermarket CPU fan, you dont really want to go cheap.

I agree wholeheartedly... with one exception, CPU fans for Athlon XP Thunderbird.
These aluminium coolers were cheap - not cheerful or nasty - just more economic than the branded coolers & they were more than satisfactory both in terms of noise & temperature reduc.
For your plaform ashdragonz3 consider this:
In tests this model from Arctic cooling came second only to the twice as expensive (here in the UK) Zalman model family of coolers for the platform you have, mentioned in this thread already.
I have a link to the model on this UK online store:
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
If you can find it for around $30 where you are I would go for that one.
Else go with a one of the Zalmans to get the last bit of cooling performance out of air possible. The only downside with these Zalmans is that their performance comes from the large amount of copper used so they are the heaviest.

The 90mm zalman cooler (looks like a flower) uses Cu and AL to form the cooler and although is heavy will not invalidate your Warrenty. In other words this cooler wont break your shit.

It's purdy, like ah flowah.
You are not implying the Artic Cool cooler would invalidate warranty or cause damage to the mobo though Thorian right?

All of the Zalman coolers look like they have only 3-pin conectors to the motherboard. Would there be some kind of an adapter for my 4-pin?
