It's good to be a part of the community! I plan to contribute to the graphic design forum, while learning from the more experienced web coders here. I've been developing sites for about a year now, and I've realized my strengths are in visual design. My goal here is to improve my front-end coding skills while using my knowledge of design to help as many people as possible.
I find that creating web businesses is quite enjoyable too, as long as everyone is on the same page. Following through with a concept to see how it grows is always fun and rewarding. So, I've become a student of marketing in order to really understand how a web page fulfills the end users needs. My personal project - a meditation and brain training site - has gradually grown over this last year, and has been invaluable for learning marketing and business concepts. I hope I can share some of my insights in SEO as well.
There are just so many different things to learn about the web which makes it such an awesome challenge; every day is something new. I'm looking forward to working with all of you fellow web heads. Best of luck to you all.
