yeah i love them, but to be fair, i didn't pay cash monies for them, i used my credit card reward points, so they were 'free'. the only thing that sucks is they are powered by aaa batteries, which i didn't know in advance. definitely pick up some rechargeables if you end up going with them. i was pretty happy with my old skull candy headphones, but i tried to wear them the other day and couldn't go back. the beats are just too comfortable and sounds too good compared to anything else.

How do you like your Dell Studio? 17", if I am not mistaken?

It's the studio 15 and it's alright. My employer bought it for me and it's what I use a good 50% of the time, although I wish the resolution was a bit higher

Using the same machine for over a year now. Is it the basic setup or customized?

This is my work desktop, as you can see it's not working.
There is no way that they are going to put AutoCAD on this...

Finally finished moving into the 5th wheel RV, including making the toy hauler garage into an office.
Had to change from a sprawling 4 desk office in a house to a tall, multi-level desk system.
Still keeping:

The monitors are all on articulated arms and fold completely into the rack and the keyboard shelf folds up.

And one must keep a frappicinio station.

- 3 x 24" widescreens
- Windows development PC

- Multiple cameras, scanners and required devices
- Multi-function printer/scanner

What's the point of working from home if you can't take advantage of it? I still work 40 hours a week. But at the end of the week I'd rather go hike some mountain, or swim a new beach... than be in the same town, same movies, same bowling alley.

edit: *doh* should've read more carefully.
Serious thought: have you looked at naval shelving or anything like that? they've got nets to keep stuff from falling off the shelves and usually have eye holes for hooks to keep stuff down/in place. this might be a worthwhile investment for you, I can't imagine that all the roads you'll eventually drive on will be smooth.
